We took an early morning drive down to Seward to take a tour in a small boat around the fjords.
We hoped to see orcas, and fortunately succeeded. The boats are in contact with each other via radio.
Our guide, Kelly, heard about some orcas and we raced over to them.
They were actually the last animal we saw We first saw sea otters eating octopus
Next, Kelly located a humpback whale by spotting its spout
of course, no trip is complete without seabirds and we saw both the horned puffin and the tufted puffin.
it’s always nice to see a bald eagle and we found an adult and two juveniles.
